 The Studebaker Car Club of Queensland Inc proudly offers an invitation to attend our annual Concours Display of classic Studebaker vehicles on Sunday 30th August 2009. This year’s event is also a celebration of our clubs fortieth birthday and we would like to share this special occasion with everyone on the day at the Cultural Forecourt, The Parklands at South Bank. 

We hope to see you at this years Club 40th Birthday Dinner, much preparation has gone into making it a very special occasion for this landmark event.

CONCOURS VEHICLE DISPLAY
Cultural Forecourt, The Parklands at South Bank.
Easy entry via Grey Street
Sunday 30th August 2009. 9am start.

**The club has rooms saved for members and friends of the club at the Riverside Hotel until the end of July.
After then it may be difficult to secure a room as there is a large boat show on at Southbank on that weekend.      So book in now to be safe. Remember to mention you are with the club when booking.

Studebaker was a large and very successful independent automobile manufacturer with a long and proud manufacturing history. Studebakers are well known for innovative design and pioneering advances in automotive engineering.

The classes to be displayed on the day are:
Vintage Pre War 1902-46, Post War 1947-58, the Lark 1959-63, the Cruiser 1964-66, the Avanti 1963-90, the Hawk 1956-61 and GT Hawk 1962-64. Classes will also be provided for Studebaker trucks, modified vehicles and vehicles still used as regular transportation.

The Concours judging will include an award for ‘Peoples Choice’ and the prestigious ‘Top Car’ award for the highest scoring vehicle. Also, because we have visitors from interstate, the Studebaker which travels the longest distance to the Concours is awarded a trophy.

Owners are always happy to have a chat about their vehicles.

Time: 8.00 am – 3.00 pm. Trophy presentation at around 2.30 pm.

Location: Cultural Forecourt, The Parklands at South Bank.
