SCCQ members visited Warwick for the Jumper’s & Jazz Festival on Sunday 19th July, 2026. Their Studebakers were on display along with the President Jim’s Dorsett Ski Boat styled by Raymond Loewy. Weather was very windy & cold but still had a great day amongst all the classic cars. 

SCCQ Club Members celebrated American Independence Day on 4th July, 2026 at the Vintage & Veterans Clubrooms, Carindale. This Day marks the United States of America Semi quincentennial Birthday and the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. A BBQ lunch and the wonderful warm winter weather was enjoyed by all.  Club President Jim displayed his Dorsett Ski Boat styled by Raymond Loewy.

SCCQ & the Newcastle Studebaker Car Club displayed their Studebakers on the streets of Coolangatta at the ‘Cooly Rocks On’ Festival held on 3rd to 7th June 2026. A fun weekend for all enthusiasts.

Beachfest Caloundra was held on Wednesday, May 27th to Sunday, May 31st, 2026. The festival is an annual celebration of classic cars, hot rods and are displayed on Bulcock Street and surrounding streets for everyone to enjoy the vehicles. Some members of our SCCQ attended and displayed their Studebakers, which drew a lot of attention.

SCCQ members and their Studebakers attended the National Motoring Heritage Day on Saturday 16th May at the Veteran’s Car Club Rooms, 1376 Old Cleveland Road, Carindale.  Seven Studebakers and owners enjoyed the event especially Greg who took home a number of prizes from the Raffles held during the day. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped organize the display as the day turned out to be a sunny day after all.

Festival of Wheels hosted by Rods Inc was held on Sunday 19th April, 2026 at Boonah Showgrounds, Boonah.  SCCQ members attended the event with our Club Secretary winning a ‘Classic” Trophy for his 1964 Studebaker Cruiser. Congratulations Greg on your win.  A good display & variety of cars with perfect Autumn weather for the festival.

SCCQ held a run to Shorncliffe for morning tea then across the bridge to Woody Point for lunch. Great day out with the Studebakers and Club members. SCCQ Life Members Harold and Phyllis Ireland attended lunch which made the day very special.
